Mission

The driving purpose behind this project is to empower TAs to become proactive about the roles and responsibilities of their profession. As teachers and members of the Program in Rhetoric and Composition, many of us hope to continue down an academic career path. As such, we want to encourage TAs to work with other members of the department and within the objectives of the department curriculum as they share ideas and seek to improve as teachers.

Authors and Editors

Posts on The TA Office site are authored by English TAs. TAs from any university campus are welcome to submit to the Quick Tips section of the website.

The website is operated by officers of the University of Arkansas Graduate Students in English organization.
